The Canada Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CanCham Bangladesh) held its 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 27, 2026, at the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel, Dhaka.

Mohammad Kamal Uddin, President of CanCham Bangladesh, presided over the meeting. Mostofa Quamrus Sobhan, Vice President, and Ali Bakhtiar Mahmud, Treasurer of CanCham Bangladesh, were also present at the meeting. Other Directors and members of CanCham Bangladesh were also present at the event.

The AGM reviewed the activities, achievements, and progress of CanCham Bangladesh during the financial year 2025. The meeting also discussed the Chamber’s future activities, plans, and priorities.

Participants exchanged views on opportunities to further strengthen trade, investment, and business relations between Bangladesh and Canada. Emphasis was placed on enhancing business-to-business engagement, creating new business opportunities, and expanding commercial cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting concluded with appreciation for the active participation and continued support of its members and a renewed commitment to working collectively to further strengthen Bangladesh-Canada business relations.
